Patricia "Tan Mom" Krentcil's 15 minutes of fame were presumably up years ago, but she's not quitting! Krentcil, who was arrested and charged with child endangerment for allegedly taking her then-5-year-old daughter Anna into a tanning bed with her six years ago, is giving music another shot. The New Jersey sunbed tanning enthusiast, who tried to record years ago, hit the studio again recently for a recording session. Scroll down RadarOnline.com's gallery for more!
Krentcil, 50, recorded a song with Adam Barta called "Free 2 Be Me," in which she says she wants to shed the her Tan Mom persona and go back to being "Patricia Marie."
As RadarOnline.com reported in 2012, Krentcil was arrested on a second-degree child endangerment charge when authorities alleged she took her 5-year-old daughter Anna into a stand-up tanning booth, where the child was burned. Krentcil denied the claim. While Krentcil admitted her daughter had accompanied her to salons, she denied Anna was ever on a tanning "bed."
In 2013, as CBS News reported, a New Jersey grand jury refused to indict Krentcil for the alleged tanning booth incident involving her little girl.
Krentcil got lots of headlines after the wacky charge. The mother of five children, who divorced her husband in 2014 after the controversy, said the 2012 case against her was unfair as she recalled, "I went down to the station and they put me in the cage" and she emerged "pale after a week. I still have nightmares. I did nothing wrong."

Now "Tan Mom" has made a deal with the comedy division at Waverly | Grace Music Group (distributed under Sony Music), to produce a song. The orange-hued viral celebrity hit red carpets after the bizarre story and she admitted she made "a ton of money" on various projects exploiting her fame.
Krentcil tried to become a hitmaker before! She previously worked with singer Barta on a song called "Rock My Freakin' Body." He helped her with vocals and to write the new song.
One of Krentcil's new music producers, Jordan von Haslow, said about the new novelty tune, "Unbeknownst to most, Patricia is a natural, born comedian. This is only the beginning of what we see as a hilarious partnership." Krentcil has made personal appearances and she was dissed for a bizarre outing at a New York club, as RadarOnline.com has reported.
Krentcil last hit the news last year, when she complained that daughter Anna's school sent her home with a bad sunburn she had suffered during recess!"She was totally burned. I packed her sunscreen and she came home like a French fry," Krentcil told the New York Post.
