‘Seeking Sister Wife’ Star Brandy Admits Ex Bernie McGee’s Death Is ‘Very Hard’

Bernie McGee dated Brandy with the hope of welcoming her to his family as a second wife on Seeking Sister Wife.
Months after their split, Bernie passed away from a heat stroke/heart attack while bike riding on Saturday, June 15.
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Brandy opened up about Bernie’s untimely death.

“It’s a very sad time,” Brandy told RadarOnline.com of the death.
Grieving Family
She added of his wife Paige and their children, “They aren’t doing well… It’s definitely a very hard time.”
Tragedy
As RadarOnline.com reported, Bernie passed away on Saturday, June 15 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS, according to his obituary.
Remembering Bernie
“Bernie loved the outdoors especially camping, hiking and riding his bike,” his obituary read. “He loved his family and friends very much. Bernie was full of life.”
Shocking Incident
Paige revealed the cause of death over Facebook. “Thank you for your thoughts and prayers,” she wrote. “Bernie was out riding his bicycle and called me, saying he wasn’t feeling well and to come pick him up. By the time I got there, EMTs were working on him, but I could already tell. The coroner said he had a heat stroke/heart attack.”
Family In Need
A GoFundMe page was created to financially help the family. “As most know, Bernie was the sole provider for the family and Paige teaches their children," the page read. "She now has the burden of funeral cost, her house lease is up in a month, cost of living expenses and taking care of two young boys on her own. The last thing needed is the stress and worry of how she will take care of financial responsibilities.”

Welcoming Brandy
On the show, Bernie and Paige turned to online dating to find a second wife to add to their family. That’s when they connected with Brandy, who came to visit with her daughter. Although the family got along well, Paige had a breakdown when Bernie and Brandy went on their first date.

Despite Paige’s jealously issues, Brandy came to visit for the second time. She ended up leaving early because she got into an altercation with Paige.
Shocking Truth?
On the reunion special, Brandy revealed she kissed Bernie in their backyard. The shocking confession left Paige in tears, as Bernie denied the incident.
