The former Two and a Half Men star, 72, has been romantically involved with Paulson, 40, "for a few months," a source recently told Entertainment Tonight.

Now, it's officially out in the open! The pair was all smiles when they were spotted for the first time in public together this weekend, blocking the rain with an umbrella as they carried some shopping bags.

Taylor, who played Charlie Sheen's on-screen mother, first spoke with radio station WNYC about her new partner earlier this month, without naming Paulson.

"It's the most wonderful, extraordinary thing that could have every possibly happened in my life," she gushed.

And though some fans were surprised to learn she is a lesbian, Taylor insisted that she didn't reveal anything new: "I haven't come out because I am out. I live out."
