"They have to put the most modern fittings in — it’s keeping us all awake, and the local sheep are being driven mad by the noise.”
The home renovation adds new bedrooms and completely modernizes the interior of the house — which will also feature floor-to-ceiling windows, which have been described as TOTALLY out of character with the surrounding cottage homes!
The Ferris Bueller’s Day Off star is already unpopular in the area after he killed two women while driving in a rented BMW during a vacation in 1987. Broderick was charged with causing death by dangerous driving and faced up to five years in prison before he was convicted of a careless driving charge, a lesser conviction, and only had to pay a fine of $175.
Added the upset neighbor: “I wish the pair of them would just go back to America — and stay there!”
