Where's Rob? Kardashian Son Misses Dedication For Health Center Named After His Dad
April 17 2019, Published 7:00 p.m. ET
Troubled Rob Kardashian was MIA for the opening of a health care center named after his beloved late father, Robert Sr.
But the rest of the family showed up in force to honor the famed attorney who died in 2003.
On Tuesday night, April 16, 2019, Kris Jenner, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall (daughter of Caitlyn) and members of Robert Sr.'s family celebrated the opening of UCLA’s Robert G. Kardashian Center for Esophageal Health in Los Angeles.
As Keeping Up with the Kardashians viewers know, the attorney and businessman died at age 59 after a battle with esophageal cancer.
The new UCLA Robert G. Kardashian Center for Esophageal Health will provide resources for groundbreaking research, patient care and education and training in addition to support efforts in esophageal health.
It was a big night for the famed Kardashian/Jenner clan, but Rob, who was named for his father, was nowhere to be seen.
But that won't be a shocker to RadarOnline.com readers!
Rob has recently packed on the pounds, gone broke, fought with his baby mama Blac Chyna, and quit KUWTK.
His mom Kris has lost patience with bloated and depressed Rob's constant cash demands, a source told RadarOnline.com.
And Kim has previously said on the reality show, "Everyone licks Rob's a** and does whatever he says. And it's just, at some point, you just have to give it up."

Celebrating Sr.
The Kardashian ladies attended the event and excited Kim posted a video on Twitter in which she said, "We are at the opening ceremony for the Robert G. Kardashian esophageal cancer health center at UCLA….We’re going to take a picture with all the doctors and everyone that will be helping and educating." But where was her brother Rob?
Remembering The Patriarch
Kris, who was married to Rob Sr. from 1978-1991 had his four kids, said that the event was "so exciting." Kim noted on social media, "We’re all here. My whole dad’s side of the family came to support." But Rob was a noticeable no show!
Son Doesn’t Rise
Kim said the center named for her late dad will deal with all esophageal and motility issues at UCLA: cancer, benign conditions like reflux, and precision health to "hopefully prevent cancer, and deal with research, education and wellness. While Robert Sr. was a successful attorney and his daughters have made megabucks, Rob's life has gone downhill.
Fond Memory
During a 2017 episode of KUTWK, Rob told Khloe about having daughter Dream with galpal Blac Chyna, "I want our baby to grow up with the same Armenian values that dad taught us."
Close Relationship
"I was the only one who was living with my dad when he died and I’m not close to the rest of my family because of my insecurities," Rob has admitted. On April 16, he didn't join his family to open his late dad's namesake health center.
Dream Team Tragedy
Robert Sr. shot to fame as one of his friend O.J. Simpson's attorneys in the trial of the century. In July 2003, he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and died less than eight weeks later. His kids were devastated.
Weighty Time
Among other issues, Rob has packed on the pounds in recent years and was diagnosed with diabetes. He gorged on fast food during his girlfriend Blac Chyna's pregnancy. Was Rob missing from the family event because doesn't want people to see how he looks?
Momager & Money
Rob's mom Kris is outraged about his cash demands, according to a RadarOnline.com insider.
Not Keeping Up
Rob quit KUWTK and his spinoff with Blac Chyna after their relationship imploded. The whole mess created financial problems.
New Girl
After splitting from Chyna and undergoing a legal battle with her, Rob hooked up with Alexis Skyy. A RadarOnline.com source said he's lavished money on the Instagram star and mom Kris is disgusted. "He’s running up a small fortune on his Amex, which of course Kris has to pay off each month," the insider said about her only son.
Custody Battle
Rob battled Blac Chyna over daughter Dream.
Not Paying
Rob weaseled out of paying child support for Dream, RadarOnline.com learned. A judge granted the reality star’s wishes to no longer pay $20k in child support to his ex Chyna.
Rob’s Odd?
Rob has long been known as the family black sheep. Court docs revealed he is more than $300,000 in debt.
Coughing Up Cash
A source told RadarOnline.com that Rob is "constantly holding his hand out for money and everyone – even his grandma – has had enough."
Not Looking Good
While once Rob looked young and trim, even competing on Dancing with the Stars, he's been on a downward spiral for years. And he's hit a new low, not even bothering to show up to honor his late father.
