In 2014 Rihanna was lambasted in the press – and reportedly by TLC – for arriving at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards in a dress that left almost nothing to the imagination. The see-through mesh gown revealed her boobs and her bum. Thankfully the Caribbean queen preserved at least some modesty by wearing a pair of panties.
Maybe we should blame Liz Hurley for the generation of celebrities who feel they have to flash a lot of flesh to make an impact on the red carpet.
