The war between bickering exes Shannon and David Beador appears to be finally over! And what a long, strange trip its been.
As RadarOnline.com reported, the Real Housewives of Orange County star reached a “private settlement” with her ex in their vicious divorce.
David has been paying Shannon $22,500 a month in child and spousal support, and had previously asked the judge to lessen the amount, claiming that his reality star ex made close to $900,000 as a RHOC star.
The judge did not reveal the details of the "private settlement" in court but told the couple: "I wish you all peace of mind you have all wanted because you have settled your case."
The treaty comes after years of angry fights and vicious attacks. Click through this RadarOnline.com gallery to relive their roller-coaster romance.
The End
The drama started in December 2017, when, after 17 years of marriage, Shannon filed for divorce from David after he admitted to having an affair with a family friend.
Money Matters
The process turned nasty almost immediately, with Shannon filing for primary physical custody of her three daughters and demanding spousal support. She also asked for a whopping $25,000 to cover her attorney’s fees.
Mo’ Money
In January, as divorce talks continued, Shannon upped her request for David’s money.
College Tuition
“Shannon decided that David should pay for all three of their daughter’s college tuition, in full,” a source revealed at the time. “Basically, she is done with letting him walk all over her.”
You’re Fired!
The disgruntled wife then turned her attention to David’s status on the show – demanding he be fired!
David’s Turn
In March, 2018, it was David’s turn to go on the offensive, accusing his ex of “excess drinking,” and alienating him from his own children.
Drinking Problems
“Since separation, the children, on several occasions have refused to talk or see me,” David wrote in explosive court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com. “This behavior has been tolerated in Shannon’s home and is not in the best interests of the children…Shannon is not fostering or encouraging a healthy father-child relationship.”
Shannon’s Victory
On March 16, 2018, Shannon experienced her first big victory when David was temporarily ordered to pay $12,000 per month for child support of their three daughters, and $18,000 for spousal support. Not to mention the $25,000 in attorney fees. An exasperated David shouted in the courtroom: “She spends like a freak!”
Dry Home
In response, David did nothing as the water was shut off in the family home. “David told Shannon that she needed to switch the utilities into her name, which she did, “a source told RadarOnline.com at the time. “But David only told Shannon about the electric and gas. He didn’t say anything about the water prior to shutting it off!”
The battle turned extra bitter when text messages from David were discovered fat-shaming his wife. But Shannon had the last laugh, losing 50 pounds and regaining her hot figure.
Wedding Ring
In July, 2018, Shannon was finally able to put her marriage behind her on screen, ripping off her wedding ring on an episode of ‘RHOC.’ “My marriage is over. And I don’t want it to ever get back together,” she admitted “I’m never going to go back.”
Emotional Toll
As the divorce dragged on, it took an emotional toll on Shannon. “I feel nothing for him. It’s not anger,” she said during an August episode of the show. “How can you just feel nothing after 20 years?”
Storming Out
With the divorce proceedings winding down, David had one last blast of emotion, storming out of an Orange County courtroom on Thursday, February 7, after he failed to convince a judge to lessen his monthly child and spousal support payments.
Another Loss
Adding fuel to the fire, the judge also told David he cannot order Shannon to stop drinking alcohol when she is with their three teenage daughters.
Peace At Last
After more than a year of bitter back-and-forth accusations and revelations, Shannon and David finally came to a divorce agreement. And the war was over.
