Prince Harry is making Meghan Markle his princess bride, but will it last? The royal family has weathered years of scandals when it comes to marriage, from Charles and Diana’s failed fairy-tale romance to Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s relationship flop. Prince Harry’s parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales — Charles and Diana — wed in a 1981 fairytale ceremony televised around the world.
The couple’s marriage was fraught with infidelity and other issues, including Charles’ dalliances with Camilla Parker-Bowles. They finally separated in 1992 and officially divorced three years later. Tragically, Diana died in a car crash in 1997 while in Paris.
Queen Elizabeth’s son Charles wasn’t the only one to disappoint his dear old mom! Her second child, Princess Anne, left her marriage to Captain Mark Phillips in 1989 and their divorce was finalized in 1992.
Today, Princess Anne is still married to her second husband, retired British naval officer Timothy Laurence.

Prince Andrew, Queen Elizabeth’s third child, famously split with Sarah Ferguson in 1992 after six years of marriage.
Unlike some of their royal peers, Andrew and Sarah have managed to stay close even though they are no longer romantically involved.
Princess Margaret, the Queen’s sister, also had some bad luck when it came to love. She wed photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones in 1960, and the two famously encountered marital issues, including cheating scandals.
Margaret and Antony called it quits in 1978, creating controversy since divorce had been all but unheard of in senior royal circles since the beginning of the 20thcentury. We pay for juicy info!
