Patrick Dempsey purchases a majestic micro-compound for the family; check out the Casa de McDreamy, right here on RadarOnline.com.
According to Variety, “Dr. McDreamy” and his makeup artist wife paid via blind trust for a $1.9 million contemporary micro-compound, located about a mile east of Venice Beach.
The 1950s bungalow was transformed in the mid-2000s into a modern-minded one-bedroom apartment and a minimalist office suite with private entrance.
Since then, the architects managed to add a boxy, three-story second residence that’s sheathed links to the original structure by a gated, two-car carport.
The second house sports a mod glass-walled living-dining-kitchen space on the ground floor.
The living area then opens up into several small patios and courtyards, presumably used for sporting beach-ready bods.
Hollywood's generous star has owned several homes in Los Angeles, but primarily resides in a residence on five private acres in the foothills above Malibu’s Zuma Beach.

Rooms on all levels are extended by outdoor patios, decks and garden areas.
This includes bedrooms.
The third floor also contains a master suite for the Grey’s Anatomy star.
Decadently clad, the master suite opens up to outdoor patios, decks and garden areas.
The third-floor terrace is estimated at 300 sq. feet.
A serene office allows for tranquil working conditions.
Fit for a king, this new purchase fits right in to the many multi-million dollar homes owned by the Dempsey family.
