Omarosa Manigault couldn’t hold back tears as she struggled to say her vows during her emotional wedding ceremony, but after she tied the knot with her beloved husband she told RadarOnline.com exclusively that “it was fantastic.” Click through the gallery for exclusive photos from her lavish nuptials at Trump International Hotel and to find out what she revealed about the intimate ceremony.
“She was breath-takingly beautiful,” Manigault’s husband, Pastor John Newman told RadarOnline.com after their emotional ceremony in the Franklin Study of President Donald Trump’s Washington, D.C. hotel on April 8, 2017. “I was speechless. And I’m speechless now.”
Decked out in $25,000 worth of jewels, including her beaded gown, Manigault gushed to RadarOnline.com about the day. “It was fantastic,” she said about the 10:30 am ceremony and danced filled reception, where 100 guests were treated to a gourmet meal of chicken and waffles, eggs, bacon, shrimp and grits and Trump champagne for mimosas.
Known for her hot temper on Trump’s NBC show The Apprentice, Manigault lightened up the vows during the ceremony when she told Newman she would marry him “for richer or for richer,” instead of for richer or for poorer, laughing during the ceremony.
“Marrying the man of my dreams,” was what Manigault told RadarOnline.com was the most significant part of the day, and the reason she started crying during the ceremony.
“It could not have come off any more beautifully. The love that was in the room expressed by family and friends was overwhelming,” Newman said about the tearful vows he and his wife shared.
Manigault beamed by her six-tiered wedding cake and proudly cut the masterpiece for the photos.
“She looks so beautiful, we are all so happy for Omarosa and John. Today she was a most beautiful bride and deserving of a long and prosperous life. She’s doing what she does best, bringing people together,” Katrina Pierson, the former Trump Campaign spokesperson told RadarOnline.com about her friend.
She tossed her bouquet to the crowd to Beyonce’s Single Ladies playing and her Maid of Honor, Monica Alexander caught the flowers.
“Omarosa has such a kind, gentle and loving demeanor that many wouldn’t believe,” Alexander told RadarOnline.com about Manigault, who was also her boss in the White House.
“Her love for her family and for her friends and her passionate commitment to her community is awe inspiring,” Alexander said about Manigault. “I love her and John’s encouragement to building and strengthening each other as individuals and as a unit.”
