Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and her husband Jionni LaValle’s marriage may already be on its last leg after just three years. The couple’s marriage got off to a very rocky start just nine months into their union after it emerged LaValle allegedly had a secret account on the cheating website Ashley Madison.
And, according to a shocking report, LaValle allegedly tried to pick up a hot brunette in Fort Lauderdale while Polizzi was three months pregnant with their second baby, Giovanna, now 3.
After dancing together in a club, LaValle “asked me for my number,” then-26-year-old Alexa Waldman told In Touch of their March 2014 meeting. “As soon as he left the club, he started texting me, asking me to come back to the boat they were partying on. I didn’t. It was clear he wanted more.”
“He told me he wanted to have a girl down here on the side that he could visit,” Waldman said of LaValle, who was to get married to Polizzi not long after the encounter. “He kept texting me asking me to come back to his hotel room,” Waldman added. “He was ready to cheat. I wanted no part of it.”
In December 2015, LaValle again partied alone in Florida, just weeks after his one-year wedding anniversary with Polizzi.
In 2016, Polizzi raised eyebrows with her own wild behavior when she was spotted looking worse for the wear in West Hollywood — with no hubby in sight.
The speculation on the state of the turbulent couple’s troubled marriage has only ratcheted up in recent months. Polizzi, 30, stopped posting photos of her husband, also 30, on social media, and he was conspicuously absent from the family’s Christmas card shoot.
He also didn’t attend her former co-star Deena Cortese‘s October wedding to Chris Buckner.
In the latest sign of trouble behind the scenes, LaValle took to social media to rant about his wife participating in Jersey Shore Family Vacation. “My wife is filming a scene packing up and leaving for her new show and I am choosing not to be on TV because I simply do not like it,” he wrote on Instagram.
“I own my own business and work hard at it, that’s what I do,” he added. “My wife is a reality star and works hard at that, that’s what she does.” LaValle then insisted that he and Polizzi are “not divorced.”
However, “Jionni never goes out with her and she seems to be going out a lot,” a source previously told RadarOnline.com. “He can’t say he has to take care of the kids,” Lorenzo, 5, and Giovanna, “’cause they live a few minutes away from his entire family.”
