"It appears that Nicole’s new look is the result of a facelift due to the loss of the nasolabial crease, which is a crease on each side of the nose," said NYC board-certified plastic surgeon with Rowe Plastic Surgery, Dr. Norman Rowe, who has not treated Kidman.
"Facelifts are extremely popular for women Nicole’s age, but it is nearly impossible to reverse the effects of a facelift," Dr. Rowe added. "Only time can do that."
America’s Holistic Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Anthony Youn, has not treated Kidman but he did agree that she is looking "a bit too plastic. " The actress "appears to possibly have had a little too much filler in her lips and cheeks, and Botox in her forehead, causing her to look a bit too plastic," Dr. Youn told RadarOnline.com.
"In my opinion, Nicole looks much younger than her actual age," noted Adam Schaffner, M.D., F.A.C.S., director of the Plastic Surgery Institute of New York, who also did not treat Kidman. "Her appearance may be due, in part, to the benefits of Botox, Dysport or Xeomin."
Not everyone thinks that Kidman's aging appearance was caused by cosmetic surgery! Dr Daria Hamrah, MD of Nova Surgicare, said: "In my opinion she did not have any work done. However, I think she should," said the expert, who has not worked with Kidman. "Comparing the before and after pictures it is obvious that she underwent a natural aging process with primarily her brows drooping which is evident in her lower set eyebrows that is causing hooding of her eyes. Also her lips seem to have lost volume compared to the before picture which is another sign of aging."
"Considering the above mentioned aging features, I would recommend to do a forehead lift/brow lift and possibly an upper eyelid lift," Dr. Hamrah added. "Also I would recommend lip filler to balance her thinning upper lip but also her lower lip."
