Nick Jonas and girlfriend Priyanka Chopra went public with their romance this week and, needless to say, the “Jealous” singer’s fans were definitely jealous!
But love didn’t come easy to the baby brother of Kevin and Joe Jonas! “Priyanka was super hesitant to get involved with him because of their age gap. She told him so many times that she just couldn’t go there,” a source close to Nick said.
“But Nick pursued her actively and told his friends and family that he was sure she is the one that he is going to marry,” the insider told RadarOnline.com.
As fans know, prior to Priyanka, Nick had a string of failed relationships that included model Olivia Culpo, Kate Hudson and singer Lily Allen!
Lucky for Nick, “Priyanka couldn’t say no anymore,” the source said. “After a year, she eventually let down her walls and committed to him. The two are inseparable now!”
The hardest critics, however, were his close-knit family! “The Jonas's definitely approve of her and they like her so much better than any of his other choices,” the source revealed.
