Megyn Kelly is living her life and following the law, three months after she was fired from her Today show host role for defending “blackface.” While the shamed TV diva has not publicly spoken of her NBC departure, she seemed totally unfazed when arriving at the Manhattan Supreme Court for jury duty this Thursday, January 17, 2019. Megyn Kelly, 48, looked like her elegant self when she arrived for jury duty this Thursday after reaching her final settlement with NBC.
Wearing blue jeans, a green coat and black boots matching her skin-tight top, Kelly smiled at the cameras and texted on her cell. She even showed off her new short hairdo!
In one hand, she carried a large bag packed with reading materials, such as the Wall Street Journal, and two crossword puzzle books to keep herself from getting bored in court.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Kelly settled her exit deal with NBC this Friday, January 11, three months after leaving the Today show for defending white people who paint their face black.

Despite the scandal, the network awarded Kelly with a massive payout as part of the deal. A source exclusively told RadarOnline.com they believe it to be close to the full payment on her three-year contract, which she signed in 2017 and was reported to be worth $69 million.
RadarOnline.com readers know Kelly apologized on her show after her controversial “blackface” comment, but producers still refused to let her come back to set after receiving fiery backlash from viewers.
“She is a passionate and driven soul and there may be times when she said or did something that offends people without them even realizing it,” said the insider after her firing.
