After Mackenzie Edwards defended her husband for his heroin-related arrest, she's now being forced to defend herself. Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry accused the Teen Mom OG wife of marrying Ryan Edwards for a paycheck. Now, Mackenzie is fighting back against Kailyn's claims exclusively to RadarOnline.com.
Edwards, 30, was arrested on March 27 at 3pm at his Tennessee home on a warrant for petition to revoke, which means breaking probation, related to a past simple possession of heroin charge. A spokesperson for Hamilton County Jail in Tennessee told RadarOnline.com he was bonded out at 10:15pm.
Lowry, 26, took to Twitter to "share her thoughts on Ryan and Mackenzie. "People struggle with addiction and that's unfortunate enough," she said. "But in my own opinion. I see someone who came in and manipulated a situation to her own benefit. To secure a check."
Lowry added that Mackenzie, "Then went a step further and got pregnant." She continued, "When they split, she is set with a couple of dollars. But that's my own opinion."
Mackenzie fired back to RadarOnline.com, "She's a b***h… coming from someone who gets knocked up every two seconds by three different people."
After Ryan's arrest, Edwards told RadarOnline.com the possession of heroin charge was from April before he entered rehab. "Everything is fine," she explained. "He took a drug test yesterday and passed."
Mackenzie is currently expecting the couple's first child together. Edwards has a son Bentley, 9, from a previous relationship with Maci Bookout, while Mackenzie is mother to son Hudson, 4, with ex-husband Zachary Stephens.
Edwards went to rehab for heroin after he was caught on camera slurring his words and falling asleep at the wheel while driving to his May wedding.
