Kirstie Alley Sells L.A. Mansion To Settle In Scientology Clearwater Capital

Kirstie Alley is selling her Los Angeles mansion in order to settle in at her other home in Clearwater, Florida, which is the Scientology capital of the United States, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
The Fat Actress star, 67, has just put her six bedroom, seven bath L.A. house on the market for a nearly $12 million asking price, according to Trulia.
And as RadarOnline.com recently reported, a source has claimed Alley is turning her back on Hollywood to be the star of Scientology's own TV network in Clearwater.
Former member Steven Mango told RadarOnline.com, "Kirstie's very important to the Church now because it's make-or-break time for them after Leah Remini did her expose."
King of Queens actress Remini famously left Scientology and has been exposing its alleged misdeeds on her A & E show, Scientology and the Aftermath, as RadarOnline.com extensively reported.
Mango said of Alley, "They've launched a new TV channel and they need her!"
RadarOnline.com revealed earlier this year that the Cheers star had reached a superhuman level of Scientology — and had chosen to celebrate with a luxury cruise getaway in the Caribbean!
An article in the Scientology magazine Freewinds, showed the star making her first ever trip on the high-end boat. The controversial Church has been operating the vessel since 1988 and has apparently deemed it the only place where members can reach the ultimate step on the "Bridge to Total Freedom."
Now, Alley is expected to become even more high-profile in the Church that includes fellow celebrities John Travolta and Tom Cruise, even if it means leaving Hollywood in the dust!

Alley has listed her Los Angeles home for a whopping $11.97 million dollars.
The property in the trendy Los Feliz area boasts six bedrooms, seven baths, and 8,870 square feet. It's a 1932 Italian-style estate with sweeping lawns.
Alley purchased her L.A. property on September 6, 2000, for $2.998 million. If she sells it for what she wants, the actress will make a huge profit!
After leaving L.A., Alley is expected to settle in Clearwater, where she already has a home. She also owns property in Maine, RadarOnline.com has discovered.
Former Scientology member Mango told RadarOnline.com that he was recruited to work with Alley in Clearwater. He left the church five years ago but recalled, "For Scientology, Clearwater is their hub and they rolled out the red carpet for her."
Alley is leaving behind her amazing L.A. estate with proximity to all the city has to offer. The property she's ditching for Scientology features huge living and dining rooms, a music room and library, a fountained swimming pool, long-winding drive, and loggias and balconies, among other luxuries fit for a celebrity.
But Mango has pointed out to RadarOnline.com that Alley will be a Scientology TV star and at her new Clearwater base, "Everyone around Kirstie will be a Scientologist, from her chef to her housekeeper." She's always been a staunch defender of her religion.
