Kenny Rogers is preparing for the end, as RadarOnline.com has reported, after a life full of secrets and scandals.
The country singing legend, 80, was forced to retire recently after being diagnosed with bladder cancer.
And a private doctor was recently assigned to care for the beloved "The Gambler" crooner 24-7 in a sign that Rogers could be on death's door.
Rogers' rep told RadarOnline.com the singer has been hospitalized – and could be there for a while.
"Kenny was recently admitted to a local Georgia hospital and treated for dehydration. Rogers will remain there to complete some physical therapy to get his strength back prior to discharge," the rep said in a statement.
Millions of his fans around the world are hoping Rogers will pull through his dire health crisis.
"He appreciates the concern and well wishes he has received from his fans and can assure everyone he plans on sticking around through the years to come," the rep told RadarOnline.com.
Rogers can look back on a storied career as one of the most popular country stars of all time after overcoming dirt poor circumstances and a father with a drinking problem.
But the star got married five times, was embroiled in a humiliating phone sex scandal, admitted to drug use, and suffered botched plastic surgery.

How Many More Nights?
The "We Got Tonight" singer is "a lot sicker than he's ever let on to the public — or even to his friends," a friend told RadarOnline.com about Rogers.
Lots Of Wives
Rogers has been married five times! "You can't say I'm afraid of commitment," he once noted.
First Wedding
Rogers tied the knot for the first time to Janice Gordon in 1958. The star admitted in his memoir that the first time he had sex he got his girlfriend pregnant and they ended up marrying. "You know what? I loved her," Rogers said. "At 19 I thought, 'This is ok with me'….It didn't work, and it's really sad because I think it could have worked." Rogers and Gordon divorced in 1960.
Another Wife
The singer's second marriage, to Jean Rogers, only lasted from 1960 to 1963.
Third Time Not Lucky
Rogers said "I do" to third wife Margo Anderson in October 1964. They had one child together but divorced in 1976. "I take the blame for" the failed marriages, he has said.
Fourth Aisle Trip
The country hunk fell for Marianne Gordon, a star on TV's Hee Haw, and they married in 1977. The two had a son together but Marianne discovered a secret lover hotline Rogers had set up with a private 1-800 number! Their marriage ended in 1993 with Marianne reportedly walking away with a $60 million settlement.

In 1997, Rogers married his fifth wife, restaurant hostess Wanda Miller. They had two kids together and are still a couple. In fact, during his current cancer fight, a source told RadarOnline.com he has signed over his $1.3 million home to Miller.
Call Me
Rogers admitted setting up an 800 number for women to call so he could have phone sex with them. Three women later filed a lawsuit against the star claiming he had coaxed them into playing kinky phone games. Aspiring actress Lisa Applewhite also alleged Rogers had used his fame to lure her to a hotel where he made sexual advances. Rogers settled the lawsuit in 1990. "I thought that (phone sex) was the safest sex there was, only to get hammered by it," he later said.
Plastic Not Fantastic?
"The Gambler" singer took a chance on changing his face through plastic surgery and it looked noticeable. In 2012, he admitted to Anderson Cooper, "There was a time when I had a lot of money and a lot of time and I thought, 'What the hell, I'll go do something.' "
Facial Changes
Rogers told CBS News he went to a top plastic surgeon who had a certain look in mind for him. "I regret that….you live with it," the stretched looking star shrugged.
Legal Fight
In 2012, Rogers sued Capitol Records, claiming the company had not properly paid him for digital downloads, ringtones and other uses of his songs. The outcome of the suit is unknown.
Secret Affair?
It's long been rumored that Rogers had a romance with fellow country superstar Dolly Parton, who was his "Islands in the Stream" duet partner. Rogers has denied they ever slept together but did call Parton sexy and said, "I'll guarantee you everybody thinks we did."
Bad Trip
Rogers recalled that he once dropped acid and said the drug made him happy, sad and crazy. That was the end of his hallucinogenic drug use. However, he also admitted he used to enjoy puffing marijuana and even performed stoned.
First Cancer
In 2014, Rogers revealed to fans that he'd had skin cancer removed. He shared a picture on Instagram, which showed his face heavily bandaged.
Not First Health Rodeo
Before getting bladder cancer, Rogers battled Hepatitis C for 25 years. It resulted in liver disease and paralyzing back pain for the popular star.
