Julie Chen, 48, is taking a much-needed break from TV and focusing on what really matters: her faith and her family.
This Wednesday, the anchor was seen going to temple for Yom Kippor with hubby Les Moonves, 68, and their 8-year-old son, Charlie.
She looked glamorous and relaxed, just one day after she announced she would be leaving The Talk, and hours after RadarOnline.com exclusively reported she would not be returning to host Big Brother for its next season.
“I will miss you all very, very much” a teary-eyed Chen told her The Talk viewers this Tuesday, explaining that she needed to spend more time at home with her husband and son.

While the TV host was clearly having difficulty saying goodbye to her longtime talk show role, a source told RadarOnline.com that her decision to leave Big Brother, was not so surprising.
“Her contract expires in two weeks and will not renew,” said the insider. “There is no offer and she didn’t request a meeting to have one — she’s done when it ends in a couple weeks.”
The reveal came days after Chen slammed CBS by giving a shout out to her disgraced hubby during her sign off. “I’m Julie Chen Moonves. Goodnight,” she said while looking straight at the camera. According to the source, everyone associated with the show took that as her two weeks’ notice.
Despite the fact that Les Moonves was accused by multiple women of sexual misconduct and assault, Julie Chen is standing by her man no matter what! Is it worth the end of her TV career? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
