"Fort Dix used to be an Army camp before it was a prison," a jail insider said. "The staff there will try to treat Joe the same as they treat everyone else, but there will be guys who latch on to him because he is famous."
The strain of his upcoming jail sentence could be seen on Joe Giudice's face when he was photographed out and about recently.
A week after being jailed for drunk driving in 2013, Giudice was arrested again after allegedly trying to obtain a fake driver's license. He was released on $50,000 bail.
Teresa and Joe Giudice were shocked when they were both charged with over thirty counts of fraud in a Federal Court in Newark, New Jersey on July 30, 2013. Teresa was recently released.

"The other prisoners are going to want to test Joe because they think he's famous, "the insider told RadarOnline.com. Although wife Teresa eventually bonded with her prison pals, the source insisted, "Men are much different than women in prison because the men are not at all star struck." In fact, as RadarOnline.com reported, the prison is already home to one Bravolebrity: RHOA star Apollo Nida!

According to the source, "If Joe is caught violating the rules inside Fort Dix, he could be sent to a much less appealing facility that is further away from his family."

"Fort Dix is more of a dorm style in terms of how the prisoners are held," the insider added. "Instead of jail cells, they mostly all sleep in one contained area with many beds."
