Does Teresa Know? Joe Giudice Boozing Behind Bars After Weight Loss
Teresa Giudice has said she'll dump her bad news husband if he doesn't shape up while serving time on fraud charges. And while slimmed-down Joe has been exercising, eating well and making nice with fellow inmates and prison guards, he's still boozing on the down low, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal. "He and his friends have been making moonshine in water bottles," a prison insider told RadarOnline.com. Find out about the Real Housewives of New Jersey dad's latest drama behind bars in RadarOnline.com's gallery.
The 45-year-old father of four — who as RadarOnline.com first reported, entered FCI Fort Dix intoxicated after a morning booze bender in March 2016 — "has been drinking quite a bit" while in confinement, the insider told RadarOnline.com.
"They make moonshine and sell it to fellow inmates," the prison source added. But Giudice family attorney James Leonard insisted his client has been keeping out of trouble. “Joe Giudice has been a model prisoner and has committed zero infractions while incarcerated," Leonard said in a statement to RadarOnline.com.
The booze is made with sour fruit and water, the source explained.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Joe had been making strides to save his marriage to Teresa, 45. In addition to losing weight, he was studying for his GED.

"Joe really wants to improve himself during his sentence," a source told RadarOnline.com. "He has been studying regularly."
Joe has been fighting to enter alcohol treatment while behind bars, and even filed a lawsuit against the Bureau of Prisons because he felt he was "improperly denied" access to a program.
He has admitted his drinking problem in the past, and his attorney even begged a judge to send him to rehab during his 2014 sentencing.
Now, he is being transferred to FCI Allenwood in Pennsylvania, where he will attend immigration hearings. (Joe faces a possibility of being deported to his native Italy at the end of his sentence.)
Joe is expected to be released in March 2019.
Should Teresa end her marriage to Joe? Sound off in the comments.
