Jenelle Evans sparked marital issues when she unfollowed her husband David Eason – but their apparent fight isn’t the only battle the Teen Mom 2 star is involved in. As RadarOnline.com reported, Griffith filed a motion to modify custody for his son Kaiser with Evans in July 2018. He claimed Evans’ husband is “violent” and a “danger” to Kaiser. “Plaintiff and spouse have drug dependence and substance abuse issues,” the motion read.
According to the Columbus County Clerk of Court, the “minor child in question, as well as another of the Plaintiff’s children, did test positive for THC at birth.” Griffith is requesting full legal and physical custody of Kaiser, with Evans getting secondary custody in form of visitation. He is also asking the spouse be prohibited from contacting the minor child.
Then yesterday, Evans temporarily unfollowed her husband on Instagram. They also unfriended each other on Facebook. The social media drama came amid Eason setting their property on fire with a blowtorch.
In October, Evans accused her husband of domestic abuse in a disturbing 911 call. “My husband just assaulted me,” she cried in the call obtained from Columbus County Emergency Services. “He pinned me down on the ground in the yard. I think I heard my collarbone crack. I can’t move my arm. He got violent because he’s been drinking.” Evans later denied her husband physically abused her.
But it doesn’t appear Griffith will achieve his goal of getting their 4-year-old son out of the home anytime soon. “They are still waiting on a trial date,” a source exclusively told RadarOnline.com. “They have had two or three scheduled and they always get pushed back. This is going to be a long, drawn out battle.”
Fortunately for Griffith, there haven’t been any issues during drop offs. “They see him every other weekend like they are supposed to,” the insider said.
