Janice Dickinson stepped out in Bel Air showing off her good mood after wedding longtime fiancé Robert "Rocky" Gerner last night. But will her controversial husband behave?
The 61-year-old married Dr. Gerner in a Beverly Hills ceremony that was held at one of her gal-pal Suzan Hughes' mansion on Dec. 10.
"I am so delighted, ecstatic, over the moon, out of the body, a runaway bride," the former supermodel told Entertainment Tonight before the ceremony began.
"When Rocky first introduced himself to me, I felt like I had seen a unicorn, a one of a kind. He's the brightest and the best and the funniest and the most exciting man I've ever met," she boasted to the publication.
However, Dr. Gerner has faced his fair share of scandals over his profession, most recently when a female patient accused him of having a sexual relationship with her from 2004 to 2011. Even worse, the accuser claims the allegedly naughty psychiatrist was living with her for three years, during the last leg of their relationship.
According to previous reports, Gerner gave up his doctor's license earlier this year after the mess surfaced. To make matters worse, it wasn't the first time he was accused of engaging with a patient. Back in 1994, he was blamed by another patient for sexual misconduct, resulting in a 60-day suspension.
Gerner and Dickinson announced their engagement in 2012 after he popped the question on his way to the Los Angeles airport with her. There was no ring at the time, but the couple was later spotted shopping for a diamond after he returned home from his conference.
When Dickinson was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year in March, their wedding planning was put on the back burner while she dealt with her health crisis. She's been known to praise Gerner for helping her through her breast cancer battle.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Dickinson has been spotted looking scary skinny in the days leading up to the ceremony, especially when she was seen leaving a hospital in a wheelchair barely one month after her diagnosis.
On top of all that, Dickinson has been at the center of Bill Cosby's sex abuse scandal, where she demanded a major payoff for the suffering he allegedly caused her. Do you think Gerner's alleged past behavior could spell trouble for their marriage? Tell us in the comments below!
