Just a few months into their relationship, the couple experienced their first big fight when Giuliana lied to Bill about her real age. Her sister Monica revealed the truth: She was 31, not 29! "Either we're going to be honest or we're not going to be together," she says he told her.

Soon after, Bill, now 43, flipped when his girlfriend took him to a surprise Botox appointment for his birthday. "Big baby," she writes. "I thought it was the perfect gift, because he had been moaning and groaning about getting old."

On a romantic getaway to Hawaii, Giuliana says she was disappointed when Bill didn't propose. "For ten hours, I refused to speak to him," she says.

After the couple said "I do" on September 1, 2007 in a fairytale Italian ceremony, they hit a rough patch once again. Bill wasn't thrilled with the cameras when they began shooting their Style Network reality show, Giuliana and Bill. "From the get-go, Giuliana and Bill was a major bone of contention between us, and we argued about it constantly," she reveals. "We'd have to pretend we weren't pissed off when the crews arrived, and sit and talk about our day."

At one point, Giuliana says Bill accused her of being a phony for the TV show. "You're acting like an over-exaggerated version of yourself!" she claims he screamed.

After eventually settling in with the cameras, the pair was dealt another blow: Giuliana's miscarriage at nine weeks pregnant in 2010. "Bill, hand me the f***ing wand, I'll find the baby!" she says she snapped when a nurse couldn't find the baby's heartbeat.

The couple initially disagreed over using a surrogate mother to finally have the baby of their dreams. "Bill was more hesitant than I was," she admits. They eventually chose an "educated and intelligent" woman, who gave birth to their son Duke on August 29, 2012.

Today Giuliana insists the couple is in a good place. "You are not only my husband, but you're also my best friend, confidante and partner in crime," she writes in the book's acknowledgments. "You're my dream come true and your love is intoxicating…I love you until the end of time."
