Christina Aguilera is no stranger to plastic surgery but after the 37-year-old appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night looking puffy-faced and swollen, Twitter users went ballistic over her freaky new face! Aguilera revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week that — after nearly two decades of rivalry — that she is “down” for a collaboration with Britney Spears!
“When I was coming up it was very obvious that me and Britney were definitely considered rivals. If we had social media back then, we would have probably done a song together or something and squashed it,” Aguilera said.
And while the iconic singer dishes about her latest feud, Twitter users could not help but take digs at her puffy face!
“Christina Aguilera looks like her face is stuck at a genie in a bottle phase,” Twitter user @JodeeEsco wrote.
Twitter user @BillBeckwith shared in his social media pals sentiments and added, “What did you do to your beautiful face? I hope that it’s Botox and it will go away!” RadarOnline.com reached out to several top plastic surgeons to find out if Botox may be the reason for the altered look.
Triple Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Adam Schaffner MD, F.A.C.S., who has not treated Aguilera and noted that her look may be due to lighting and/or makeup, said: “Christina may have the appearance of fuller cheeks due to increased volume from fillers such as Voluma or Restylane Lyft.”

Dr. Norman Rowe of Rowe Plastic Surgery agreed with his NYC colleague and, although he also did not work on Aguilera, told RadarOnline.com, “I believe that Christina’s puffiness can be attributed to overfilled facial fillers, like Bellafill or Voluma. She probably tried to fill out any wrinkles and give her face some youthful fullness. Unfortunately, she was overfilled with fillers in the cheek area, and they weren’t placed in the optimal area. Her fillers should have been injected more on the cheek bone.”
