Christina’s Failed Comeback! Aguilera’s Tour Sales Slump As Album Drops From Charts

Blink and you missed it: Christina Aguilera’s big comeback is over before it began.

The singer’s new album Liberation was released on June 15 — and now, just over a week later, the album has dropped to #106 on the iTunes top music chart!

In addition, the mom of two’s new singles — “Accelerate,” “Twice” and “Fall in Line,” are missing from iTunes’ top 200 songs.

The songs are similarly missing from the Billboard Top 100 chart this week.

Aguilera’s tour isn’t fairing much better. At her September 25 date in Hollywood, Florida, nearly half of the floor seats at the Event Center are still empty.

According to Ticketmaster, there are massive empty sections for future dates in Atlantic City, Detroit, Chicago and Sugar Land, Texas.

The disappointing comeback comes at the heels of Aguilera , 37, slamming The Voice, the hit show she left in 2016.

“I didn’t get into this business to be a television show host and to be given all these rules,” she huffed to Billboard in May. “Especially as a female: You can’t wear this, can’t say that. I would find myself on that show desperately trying to express myself through clothing or makeup or hair. It was my only kind of outlet.”

Though she said she’d never return to the series that relaunched her career in 2011, a source told RadarOnline.com Aguilera was actually fired!

“Her attitude on and off set was such that no one wanted to work with her anymore,” a production source told RadarOnline.com, adding that she didn’t mesh with fans either.

“She was no longer sitting well with the audience. But she did it to herself!”
