The term “cougar” has come to mean older women who date much younger and often very handsome men. While some might say this is a negative term, many ladies have come to embrace it.
Celebrity cougars are no different than non-celebrities in their pursuit of young and handsome fellas — with many famous actresses and entertainers going after studs even half their age. Here are some of the celebrity cougars who have dated younger men.
1. Demi Moore Has A History Of Dating Younger Men.
One of the most iconic cougars is actress Demi Moore. She famously dated and then was married to fellow actor Ashton Kutcher from 2005 until 2012. The couple had a 16 year age difference. When they met, he was in his 20s and she was in her early 40s. After her marriage to Kutcher ended, Moore went on to date even younger men. According to People magazine, in 2014 the actress began dating Sean Friday who is the drummer for the band, Dead Sara. Friday and Moore had a 24 year age difference and dated for about a year.
2. Courtney Cox Is Not Just A Cougar On TV.
Courtney Cox stars on the hit television show “Cougar Town,” but she doesn’t just play one on TV. Cox was married to actor David Arquette from 1999 to 2013, and the couple had a six year age difference. While that might not be a huge number, she also dated musician Johnny McDaid, according to E! Online. The Snow Patrol frontman and the actress have a twelve year age difference.
3. Sandra Bullock Likes Young Them Young By Double Digits.
While other couples may have been more high-profile, Sandra Bullock has had multiple relationships with younger men who were her junior by well over a decade. Her ex-boyfriend, fellow A-List actor and “Murder By Numbers” costar, Ryan Gosling featured a 16 year age gap. The couple dated from 2001 until 2003 according to MamaMia. After that relationship ended Bullock would go on to date another young catch, her “The Proposal” costar, Ryan Reynolds. Reynolds was just 12 years younger than Bullock.

Jennifer Aniston met singer John Mayer in 2008 at an Oscars party, according to E! Online. The Friends star was not that familiar with his music, but the two soon began dating for the next several years. This relationship featured an eight year age gap.
5. Robin Wright Gets Engaged To Man Decade And A Half Younger.
Robin Wright’s character on House of Cards had her have an affair with a much younger man. However, that age gap is nothing compared to the 14 year difference with her onetime fiancé, actor Ben Foster. The two had met while filming Rampart in 2011, and they were engaged to be married in 2014 but then split up for good in 2015, according to People magazine.
6. Janet Jackson Marries Rich, Younger Man.
No one could claim that pop star Janet Jackson is a gold digger, but she might be a cougar. The singer married billionaire Wissam Al Mana, who is nine years younger than she is.
