Celebrity Friends Remember Carrie Fisher One Year After Shocking Sudden Death

This Wednesday, December 27 marks the one year anniversary of Carrie Fisher's death. In honor of the beloved Star Wars actress, various celebrity pals and fans took to social media to voice their adoration for the star, and their grief over her death. "No one's ever really gone… #AlwaysWithUs #CarrieOnForever" tweeted Mark Hamil while sharing a photo collage of him and Carrie Fisher.
Longtime friend, William Shatner also tweeted a photo of him and Fisher, wrapped in a sweet embrace. He captioned the photo with a crying emoji.
"The General? To me, she's royalty," wrote actor Dean Dobbs. "Can't believe it's been a year already. May the force be with you, Carrie Fisher."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, relapsed on drugs and alcohol shortly before her death.
She was pronounced dead on December 27, 2016, after having suffered a heart attack three days earlier, and taken cocaine "in the last 72 hours."
A full autopsy report released by the L.A. County Medical Examiner showed Fisher had "cocaine, methadone, ethanol alcohol and opiates" in her system at the time of her death. She also allegedly had Prozac.
The legend, who died at the young age of 60, reportedly suffered from bipolar disorder, depression and anxiety. Her final cause of death was listed as sleep apnea in the coroner's report.
In a troubling turn of events, Carrie Fisher's heartbroken mother, Debbie Reynolds, died the next day.
