Is Bristol Palin leaving Teen Mom OG? The famous mom of three was brought on board the MTV show to replace Farrah Abaraham, but her first season may be her last, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned. The 28-year-old Alaska native’s bitter divorce with Dakota Meyer was the central focus of TMOG, and her unhappiness with the editing has pushed her over the edge, a source close to Palin spilled to RadarOnline.com. “It’s obvious Bristol doesn’t want to do another season,” an insider snitched to RadarOnline.com about the TMOG reality star.
“You can tell from her openness on social media, she’s less than happy with the way things got portrayed in her first season on the show,” the source pointed out.
The mom was “focused on her kids and new career,” but felt slighted by MTV’s "aggressive" editing, the source said.
“There’s a lot more to her than the drama that was shown and it’s sad to see that’s all they could make her story out to be,” the Palin source told RadarOnline.com.
The source said Palin was particularly upset about the on-camera fights with Meyer. “TMOG tried their hardest to ruin her character by making her look like she was the problem with the drama with her divorce, but really it has been the opposite behind closed doors," a source insisted.
Meyer attacked Palin in a recent episode of TMOG. He vented to a producer, “She’s more worried about the public opinion than she is about ‘let’s get in there and be parents to the kids.’ That’s what the show has done to her. She’s more focused on the show and her image than she is about what’s in the best interest of the kids. This is the pettiness I have to look forward to forever.”
“At the end of the day, where things stand right now, Bristol isn’t particularly interested in being a part of a show that she thinks doesn’t accomplish anything and cast her in a light that isn’t a real description of who she is,” the insider said.
The source told RadarOnline.com Palin was fully aware of Amber Portwood’s Instagram Live video where she said she was not currently filming.
“Amber has expressed similar concerns with the show,” the snitch told RadarOnline.com.
“Things could change in the future, if Teen Mom doesn’t change the inaccurate portrayal of Bristol she is ready to walk,” the source said.
