Bethenny Frankel Enjoys Romantic Getaway In Italy Following End Of Custody Battle
Bethenny Frankel is enjoying a nice Italian vacation with her boyfriend Paul Bernon.
RadarOnline.com obtained photos of the couple hanging out on a boat while in the Amalfi Coast.
The reality star dressed lightly for the weather, but managed to keep it fashionable.
It was a great way to relax with her beau who supported her during her nasty custody fight with her ex-husband Jason Hoppy.
As readers know, Frankel and Hoppy were in a bitter custody battle that ended last month with an explosive final day in trial.
The former spouses, who married in 2010 and separated in 2012, fought over money and their home. In regards to their daughter Bryn, Frankel sought full custody while Hoppy fought to maintain their joint custody agreement.
During their many court dates, Frankel accused her ex of various things including locking her late dog Cookie in a storage closet and abusive treatment toward both her and their daughter.
“An appointment with Jason is abusing me, making fun of me,” she told Hoppy’s lawyer regarding their doctor’s appointments with Bryn. “An appointment with Jason is a torture chamber… It is a vacuum of abuse. Going to an appointment with Jason is not a good idea, because he uses every way to abuse me when no one is looking.”
She also got emotional when recalling the time he called her a witch in front of their daughter.
On the opposing end, Hoppy referred to her drunken antics on the show and suggested they demand a substance abuse test.
“She is allowed to occasionally go and drink without her daughter present,” Judge Michael Katz ruled. “What exactly is your claim? That she goes out and occasionally has a drink, because that’s not illegal.”
Hoppy’s lawyer, Robert Wallaf argued both sides should refrain from focusing on their personal issues and aim their attention on Bryn’s best interest.
“The evidence will show that Bryn is happy, healthy, smart and well-adjusted,” he mentioned in court.
Judge Katz is expected to make a ruling by the end of the summer.
