According to reports, Jolie was concerned about Pitt's drinking and pot smoking and how it was affecting his parenting prior to filing for divorce, and her brother stepped in to take care of her children while she prepared to begin a new life.

Citing her beloved six children, Jolie's attorney said that she filed for divorce from Pitt "for the health of the family."
