‘Put Your Damn Kid First!’ Gary Shirley RIPS Amber Portwood For Ditching Daughter

Amber Portwood isn’t letting anyone get away with calling her a bad mom – especially her baby daddy Gary Shirley! On this week’s Teen Mom OG, Portwood attacked Gary Shirley and his wife Kristina Anderson for calling her an absentee mom.
On a previous episode, Shirley and Anderson slammed Portwood for only seeing Leah, 9, twice during the summer because of her depression over her split from ex-fiancé Matt Baier. “For them to act like I'm an absent mother, that’s bullshit,” Portwood told a producer. “I saw her three times, not twice. I need Leah to know I love her. If her dad and stepmom are talking s**t about her mother, she’s going to start thinking these things. You’re two-faced.”
After Portwood called Shirley to give him a piece of her mind, he vented to his wife. “You didn’t see Leah months at a time,” he told Anderson. “I understand you broke up with Matt… but a break from the whole summer? You passed over two to three months with Leah cause you’re depressed? I can’t take a break. I am always to blame for her actions. I did not make her snort a pill, I did not make her take a pill, I did not make her do drugs, I did not make her go to prison, she chose that. You got another boyfriend before you even seen your kid. That’s my problem. Put your damn kid first!”
Portwood, who is expecting a son with boyfriend Andrew Glennon, then turned to social media to slam the couple. She even accused Anderson of cheating on her ex-husband with Shirley! But Portwood soon regretted her social media tirade. “I’m going to be a mother of two,” she told her boyfriend. “I can’t act like that anymore and I don’t want to.”
Before the episode aired, Shirley apologized to his baby mama over Twitter. “I know we have overcome a lot since tonight's episode was filmed however, I feel horrible for the things I’ve said,” he tweeted. “I’m sorry and I want to continue to strengthen the co-parenting relationship we have. You’re my baby mama and even if I’m given a reason to be upset with you I should still respect you,” he tweeted. “I’m not perfect and I never will be. I want your time with baby James to be precious and I don’t wanna bring you down from this joyful time in your life.” She responded, “All we can do is move forward and focus on the good in our family and the relationship we have today. No matter what struggles we go through we can work it out. Thank you for the apology.”
Also on the episode, Maci Bookout visited Catelynn Lowell in rehab. Lowell entered rehab on November 17 and then again on January 17 for depression after suffering a miscarriage. Lowell explained to Bookout, “Tyler and I got pregnant and I had a miscarriage. Traumatic experiences around pregnancy. When I placed Carly, that’s a traumatic event and then with Nova I had really bad post partum, then I had this miscarriage. That’s where my anxiety came from. If I get pregnant something bad is going to happen.”
Bookout revealed that she had a miscarriage of her own. “Taylor and I also had a miscarriage this year. I didn’t tell Taylor for two months. Then I realized I couldn’t deal with it myself. I needed him there. I know he would want to be there for me if it hurt him or not.”
Lowell’s husband Tyler Baltierra then revealed graphic details of his wife’s miscarriage. “I didn’t expect to see all that blood everywhere,” he said. “It was traumatic. It was like a murder scene. I never seen Cate that afraid in my life. She was shaking.”
