As Aaliyah famously sang, “age ain’t nothing but a number,” a sentiment clearly shared by more than a few celebrities. With more than a few years between them and their partner, some celebs have proved that true love can prevail even with the occasional massive age gap. That being said, this is still Hollywood, so even true love may be fleeting.
Some celebs have dated much younger partners on multiple occasions, and believe it or not, they’re not all men. Every now and again, it’s women who also date young stars. Obviously J.Lo can get any man she wants, age gap or no age gap.

Wladimir Klitschko and Hayden Panettiere – 14 Years
The Heroes star and the pro boxer had a 14-year age gap between the two of them. Regardless, they still went on to tie the knot and bring a daughter, Kaya, into the world. But age wasn’t the only discrepancy between the towering Klitschko and the diminutive Panettiere. Panettiere would say of their first meeting on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, "I said, 'You're huge.' And he said, 'You're tiny.' And that was it."
Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves – 14 Years

In the interim years, the world has witnessed everything from duets to tours to three adorable children.

Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox – 13 Years
Before rocketing to superstardom with the Transformers franchise, Megan Fox enjoyed a brief stint on the show Hope & Faith where she would kindle a romance with former Beverly Hills 90210 heartthrob Brian Austin Green. Despite Fox being only 18 at the time, the pair would waste no time starting a family with a 2010 marriage and three children of their own.
Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid – 13 Years
“He’s my guy, he’s the one,” the Friends star would say on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. In 2014, Cox and the Snow Patrol musician became engaged but didn’t get hitched right off the bat. In 2016, McDaid would tell People, “I don’t know if you can put a label on what makes us work, but I know that I’ve never loved like I love this woman, so if that’s enough, then that’s enough.”
Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones – 25 Years
The iconic actors famously have a quarter-decade between the two of them and coincidentally share a birthday. But surprisingly enough, it was the Entrapment star’s prowess on the links that won Douglas over. The couple married in 2000 and, despite a somewhat turbulent road, are still going as strong as ever.
Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart – 22 Years
Calista Flockhart became a seminal part of the '90s as TV’s Ally McBeal but also became Han Solo’s third wife. The pair met in 2002, and within a year, Harrison was gushing to Hello! Magazine, “I’m in love!” The couple made it official with a Santa Fe wedding in 2009.
Olivier Sarkozy and Mary-Kate Olsen – 17 Years
Former Full House sweetheart and fashion designer Mary-Kate Olsen was charmed by Sarkozy, a French banker and half brother to the former President of France. Robin Thicke and April Love Geary – 18 Years
The son of actor Alan Thicke saw no “Blurred Lines” when he fell in love with model April Love Geary. Christmas 2018 saw the Masked Singer judge pop the question, which they would reveal via Instagram alongside a photo of a pregnant Geary.
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively – 11 Years

Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley – 17 Years

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo – 10 Years
Prinsloo, a Victoria’s Secret model, married the Maroon 5 frontman in 2014. The decade between the two clearly didn’t bother them, and the couple would welcome Dusty Rose and Gio Grace into the world just a few years later.
George and Amal Clooney – 17 Years
A friend introduced the Ocean’s 11 star to Amal at a 2013 fundraiser. After only a year, the lawyer would boast a seven-carat engagement ring on her finger. Despite almost 20 years between the couple, they’ve proven to be one of Hollywood’s most enduringly beautiful couples, bringing twins into the world in 2018.
