Jax Taylor's financial woes have been exposed just months after being let go from Vanderpump Rules with a baby on the way. The former SUR bartender owes Uncle Sam $1.2 million! Newly released documents lay out the ex-Bravo star's money trouble.
The Sun obtained the federal documents which confirm Jax Taylor is on the hook for $868,035. That's not all! In the state of California, the former controversial Pump Rules star owes an additional $316,571.
In January, an unpaid tax lien was filed against him. In March, another tax lien shows that Jax Taylor owes the California Franchise Tax Board more than $316,571 for the 2018-2019 tax year.
This isn't the first time we've heard about the dad-to-be's money hardships but with his pregnant wife Brittany Cartwright about to pop in the next few weeks and a mortgage on their $1.9 million Los Angeles home, it's not great timing for the family.
Variety reported Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright got axed from the show in December 2020. The OG cast member and his breakout star wife announced on social media they wouldn't be back for another season.
Their firing adds to the long list of other co-stars who were also let go during Bravo's cleanup.
Months prior, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were canned from the popular series after a racist incident was brought to light. They weren't the only ones either. Two newbies were also let go.
While the next season of "Vanderpump Rules" remains unclear, ex-star Billie Lee dropped some tea on what's to come. She also had some choice words to say about Jax Taylor.
'Vanderpump Rules' Bombshell! Billie Lee Claims Jax Taylor Was 'Usually On Drugs' During Filming
As RadarOnline.com reported, Billie Lee alleged the bartender was "usually on drugs" when filming the show. She said he was "very difficult to work with," and claimed he was often "agitated" and "angry." Pointing the finger at Bravo, Billie Lee said producers would "dance around that behavior."
It wasn't until fans took a stand, demanding that the network fire Jax Taylor that Bravo actually did something.
