Trump has issued a $1million reward for the arrest in conviction of voter fraud.

Before boarding Air Force One for a Mississippi campaign rally, he repeated the offer to reporters, "I'm also going to be issuing a $1million bonus or reward, or whatever you want to call it, for anybody that reports voter fraud, leading to the arrest and conviction of somebody."

Some Republican election officials have also objected.

Matt Crane, head of the Colorado County Clerks Association, told 60 Minutes he was troubled by Trump spreading "disinformation and lies" about election security, adding, "This is not a partisan issue."

In 2020, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick offered a $25,000 reward for election fraud tips.

The first payout went to Eric Frank, a Democratic poll worker in Pennsylvania whose tip led to the conviction of a 72-year-old Republican who voted twice.
