Tristan Thompson Faces Setback In Ongoing Paternity Case With Alleged Third Baby Mama Maralee Nichols
Tristan Thompson's fight to have his paternity case quietly play out in Texas won't happen. A judge has dismissed the NBA player's request, meaning his custody battle with Maralee Nichols will now be battled in California.
The 30-year-old basketball star came face to face with the Houston trainer, 31 — who claims she gave birth to his child earlier this month — on Wednesday during a virtual hearing.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Tristan filed a suit against Nichols in Texas, where his alleged third child was conceived. Nichols filed her paternity suit in CA, which is where she moved during her pregnancy.
Us Weekly was the first to break the news. A source told the outlet, "Regardless of whether any act of conception occurred in Texas that could have led to the conception of the child, they [allegedly] had a lengthy relationship spanning multiple states."
In court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Khloé Kardashian's baby daddy admits to having multiple sexual encounters with Nichols between December 2020 and March 2021.
"The child was born in California, the mother resides there and so does Tristan. It would make sense the judge would dismiss this given the facts and the California lawsuit filed prior to the Texas one," Us Weekly's source adds.
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Nichols moved into a luxurious apartment building just 20 miles from Tristan.
