Thieves Steal Tom Cruise's $140,000 BMW And Luggage Worth Thousands Of Dollars After Duplicating Keyless Fob For 'Mission Impossible'-Worthy Crime
It appears nothing is impossible, as Tom Cruise learned after his high-priced vehicle and thousands of dollars worth of personal items were stolen by thieves right from under his security team's noses.
The 59-year-old actor is in the United Kingdom shooting Mission: Impossible 7 and was reportedly inside his hotel after a day of filming when the high-tech crime occurred on Wednesday.
According to The Sun, thieves used a scanner to duplicate the keyless fab for Cruise's car. The pricey luxury vehicle is worth $140,000.
The Academy Award-winning actor's BMW X7 was allegedly parked outside a Birmingham hotel when one of the crooks gained access and made off with the car.
Unfortunately for Cruise, not only did they steal his beloved car, but they made off with thousands of dollars worth of the Hollywood star's luggage which was inside the vehicle by default.
“Tom had been driven around in the car while in Birmingham and some of his luggage and belongings were inside it when it was taken," sources told The Sun.
Cruise's high-priced BMW has allegedly been recovered by police thanks to its electronic tracking device, "but everything inside it had gone."
The actor — who's not necessarily known for his patience — is said to be beyond angry about the crime.

“It’s a huge embarrassment for the security team and the guy who had been driving it was hopping mad — but not as mad as Tom!" their insider adds.
The paparazzi snapped photos of the shiny BMX X7 hours before it was stolen while it was parked in front of The Grand Hotel on Church Street in plain sight.
According to The Sun, Cruise's top bodyguard was the one who discovered the car was missing.
His BMW X7 is Cruise's means of transportation as he gets to and from scenes while shooting the action-packed franchise film.
The actor's stolen car isn't the only reason he's made headlines this week.
In the docuseries Gossip, the former editor-in-chief of the New York Post claimed Cruise has fake teeth that allegedly fell out on the table one night over dinner.
But Cruise played it off, telling his editor pal that his kids knocked out his front teeth while playing and asked him not to reveal his secret.
As of this post, Cruise has not commented on the theft or his alleged fake teeth.
