'Southern Charm' Stars Filming A 'Vanderpump Rules' Type Spin-Off with Leva Bonaparte, Bravo Has Yet To Greenlight Project
Ever wonder what would happen if Southern Charm and Vanderpump Rules had a baby? Newcomer Leva Bonaparte caused chatter among Bravoholics when it was reported the nightclub owner was caught filming a bar-type spin-off — but RadarOnline.com has officially learned that while the cameras are rolling, the project has yet to be signed off for TV.
According to our sources, there's definitely buzz about the potential show within the Southern Charm cast — as it's said to feature a few of them — but it hasn't been greenlit by Bravo, which is the network that made them famous.
Leva has been part of the Southern Charm group for years, but she became more of a stand-out this past season.
The entrepreneur-turned-reality-star has made a name for herself in the Charleston, North Carolina, nightlife scene
Leva and her husband, Lamar, have dominated the hospitality industry in The Holy City, owing several restaurants and bars throughout the area.
Among those most popular include Republic Garden & Lounge, Bourbon N’Bubbles, and Mesu.
The rumor mill began to turn about a possible spin-off when a tipster wrote into celebrity gossip site Deuxmoi, claiming they had stumbled into Republic and cameras were focused on the bartenders.

"So my friends and I are out in Charleston and happened to walk into a bar called republic and they were filming a new show about the bartenders of it and Leva from Southern Charm owns it!!" the source claimed, adding they were asked to be extras in a scene that included a fake fight.
"The girls on the new show were soooooo incredible rude and the producers made them all fake fight! It was the fakest thing ever," the insider said.
When pressed for details about the rumored show, the tipster responded, "It was the pilot of the brand new show." They even dropped names like the bartenders TJ, Bradley, and Reagan, who the source says will all appear on the pilot.
While RadarOnline.com can confirm cameras have been spotted filming at Leva's spot, we're told the show is nothing more than a pipedream at the moment and has not yet been picked up by Bravo.
Meanwhile, on the West Coast, Vanderpump Rules Season 9 is about to drop sans a number of the original cast members including Stassi Shroeder, Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor, and Brittany Cartwright, who was later added to the group.
Don't worry, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz are still the best Bravo bartenders — at least, for now.
