Sean Penn's estranged wife Leila George wants out of her marriage ASAP and is making moves in court to make it happen.
According to court documents obtained by Radar, the 29-year-old actress has handed over all required financial documents as part of their ongoing divorce.
The move is one of the first steps needed to start the settlement negotiations. George coughed up her income and expense declaration along with a full list of her property and assets.
The divorce has been moving at a lightning speed since George slapped the Hollywood star with legal papers back in October. The two had been married for only a year despite dating since 2016. They decided to get married in a low-key ceremony during the pandemic.
In her petition, George cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. The daughter of Daredevil star Vincent D’Onofrio listed the date of separation as September 28, 2021

All signs point to the couple having a prenuptial agreement before walking down the aisle. In her filing, George asked the court to terminate both her and Penn's right to spousal support.
Earlier this month, Penn and George notified the court they had hired a private judge to handle the case. The decision means the couple will try to hash out a settlement behind closed doors instead of fighting out in public.
The private judge route has been used by other celebrities like Kelly Clarkson and Angelina Jolie.
The docs revealed they hired a man named Scott Gordon who previously worked as a judge at the Los Angeles Superior Court. During his time on the job, he presided over Mel Gibson and Britney Spears’ custody battles with their exes.
Penn has two other ex-wives. He was married to Madonna from 1985 to 1989 and then actress Robin Wright from 1996 to 2010.
