Protesters Swarm Scientology’s Celebrity Centre Attacking Church Over Convicted Rapist Danny Masterson
A protest happened outside the Church of Scientology's Celebrity Centre, with convicted rapist Danny Masterson as the center of attention despite being behind bars. RadarOnline.com has obtained exclusive photos of protestors marching outside the religious group's Hollywood facility, famous for hosting A-list celebrity members like Tom Cruise, over the weekend.
This outlet had front-row tickets to the chaos that unfolded on Saturday afternoon, with swarms of protesters challenging the church's role in the alleged Masterson rape coverup.
As this outlet reported, Masterson — a longtime Scientologist — was convicted of raping two women in the early 2000s in May. The That '70s Show star was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison in September.
Scientology was accused of covering up Masterson's crimes when the women — also Scientologists — reported the rapes to church officials. The organization was also accused of encouraging the victims to not report the crimes to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The Church of Scientology has denied those allegations, but that didn't stop the protesters.
Marching along the front of the church's celebrity facility, many held up signs referencing Masterson and the coverup accusations.
"Scientology rapes," one poster read in big red letters, with the actor's face slapped on it. "Scientology covered up Danny Masterson's sexual abuse," read another.
Other protesters held up signs reading, "Scientology is dead" and "Proud SP!" SP is a term the church uses for a "Suppressive Person," someone who goes against the church — most notably, a former member like Leah Remini, who had made it her mission to speak out against the organization.

While the demonstrators shouted, passersby stopped to take photos as cars honked and cheered in support. RadarOnline.com can also reveal that police presence was there.
A rep for Scientology tells RadarOnline.com, "The group that you are referring to was allegedly against sexual predators. One of the people in the group has a felony conviction for sexual assault of a minor. He served time for his crime. He has a long rap sheet including bank robbery and illegal possession of firearms. He came off probation in June 2023. It is all in public documents."
Masterson — whose wife, actress Bijou Phillips filed for divorce earlier this month — is currently in lockup at the Men's Central Jail in Los Angeles. He will be transferred to prison to serve his sentence; however, he has not been assigned to a specific location or given a transfer date as of this post.

Last week, the actor gave up legal and physical custody of the 9-year-old daughter he shares with Phillips, also a Scientologist, asking only for visitation in the confines of a California state prison.
