Salt-N-Pepa Star Sandra Denton Hit With $676,000 Lien By Former Plastic Surgeon Over Unpaid Work
Salt-N-Pepa star Sandra Denton has been hit with a nearly $700,000 lien over alleged unpaid plastic surgery work.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. David Sayah is demanding Denton cough up $676,675 for his services. The doctor filed the lien as part of Denton’s lawsuit against Uber over a car crash she was in.
Sayah wants to make sure he gets paid if Denton is awarded a dime in the suit against the ride-sharing company. The lien will allow him to collect if any judgment is entered in favor of the singer.
Sayah attached a series of involves from 2019 which included costly procedures to remove a bunch of injections and implants that Denton had inserted into her. Last year, Denton sued Sayah for alleged negligence.
In the suit, Pep said the cosmetic surgeon pressured her into undergoing multiple butt procedures only to completely screw up the work. Pep sought the doctor out to fix her body after a July 2018 car accident.
She said the crash caused injections she previously had put into her butt and hips shift. The injections moving caused her to experience great pain as a result. Pep says the original plan was to remove the material from her body to help with the pain.
She says the doctor originally convinced her to replace her butt implants with smaller implants. She says Sayah performed liposuction on her that went bad and forced her to have another corrective surgery.
Another procedure she claims he pressured her into caused her butt to harden up. She said the procedure led her to have difficulties while performing on stage.
The suit said the last procedure went down in February 2020. The doctor was supposed to remove injections.
Denton said eventually she went to another doctor who told her there was a “large amount of biopolymer silicone and dead scar tissue remaining” based on an MRI. Denton is suing the doctor for the alleged harm done to her body and her medical expenses. The suit is ongoing which is likely why she hasn’t paid the unpaid invoices.
