New ‘Real Housewives Of Orange County’ Star Noella Bergener’s Husband James Owes $5.8 Million In Back Taxes
The husband of the new star of Real Housewives of Orange County is accused of owing millions in back taxes.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, season 16 started shooting this week and there are 3 new cast members, Dr. Jen Armstrong, Nicole James, and Noella Bergener.
Two of the new additions were previously friends with Braunwyn Windham-Burke, who was handed her walking papers after last season.
One of her friends was Noella . The two were inseparable for months and Noella even appeared as a friend on the Bravo show. Braunwyn has since pulled away from Noella and expressed displeasure with her friend being cast.
Noella is married to a personal injury lawyer named James Bergener. He runs a successful law firm named Sweet James in Orange County.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Noella’s husband owes millions in taxes to the State of California and the Internal Revenue Service.
RadarOnline.com obtained a federal tax lien filed on June 3, 2021. The lien accuses James of owing taxes for the years 2018 and 2019. The document says he refused to pay $1,878,438 for 2018 and $2,166,680 for 2019.
In a separate tax lien filed on July 7, the State of California says James owes them $1,851,225.04 for 2018 and 2019. The grand total for his tax debt comes to $5,896,343.04.

The liens have yet to be released and the debt is active.
The address listed on both liens is the address for his law firm.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Braunwyn and her husband Sean are going through their own legal issues. Earlier this month, their landlord sued the reality stars for eviction.
In court documents, the owner of their Newport Beach rental said they owed $45,000 in rent. The landlord pleaded with the court to kick Braunwyn, Sean, and their kids to the curb.
Sean responded, without a lawyer, denying the claims in the suit. He accused the landlord of ruining Braunwyn’s reputation by making the allegations public. He demanded the entire case be thrown out. A judge has yet to rule on the matter.
The suit came days before Braunwyn & Sean revealed they were separating after 27 years of marriage. She left their rental home and moved to Hawaii with their kids.
