The reality stars posted the same photo of themselves hanging out in the Hamptons all smiles. Ramona captioned her post, "So happy to be back with my girl!!"
Ramona's on-again, off-again archnemesis/costar Leah Mob even left a positive comment on the post. Sonja Morgan even jumped in to tell them, "Looking great ladies."
The newbie cast member Eboni K. Williams did not like the post.
Ramona and Luann's hangout came after Bravo released a statement revealing the reunion was off. They told Variety, "Due to scheduling challenges around taping the reunion of The Real Housewives of New York City in a timely manner, Bravo confirmed there will not be a reunion for this season."
They continued, "It’s disappointing to not be able to bring the cast back together, but we are happy to have ended on such a high note with the finale, and are now shifting our focus to next season.”
Sources told the outlet the producers felt there was no point in going forward with the reunion since so much time had passed. Further, they felt that they should spend their time fixing RHONY which they feel was at one time the most popular franchise in the series.
The insiders also claimed the producers were having issues with scheduling. They claimed it was hard because of the ladies' summer plans. The source also admitted the women were still fighting behind the scenes and nobody was looking forward to coming together.
As Radar previously reported, weeks before the reunion decision, producers reached out to Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan offering them a “friend” spot for next season. They were told they would not be coming back as main cast members.
The show had originally planned to fire Ramona completely but sources say they are willing to have her back in a reduced role. Sources say they do not believe Ramona and Luann will take them up on the offer.
