Machine Gun Kelly and Conor McGregor have gotten into a brawl on the VMA's red carpet held at Brooklyn's Barclays Center and had "to be pulled apart" by security.
Conor allegedly threw his drink at the rocker, which had prompted the fight.
An eyewitness revealed, the two red carpet attendees "got into a fight at the top of the carpet" and "had to be pulled apart."
In the photograph, the UFC fighter and MGK were seen being separated by security after the brawl broke. Conor was pictured throwing a punch towards MGK as a couple of security guards restrained the fighter.
In a video, Conor also appeared to be shouting at MGK while lunging towards him, but security was holding him back.
An insider claimed that McGregor had thrown his drink at MGK earlier.
"They scuffed, then it settled down and Conor went for him again, " the source added, observing that Conor's action had upset photographers as they were saying "they were going to boycott Conor because they were worried MGK and Megan wouldn't walk."
Another source added that "everyone was screaming," which had gotten the security to step in, noting that security was having trouble holding McGregor back as he was "ready to throw fists."
It's still unclear what had caused the fight, although McGregor's rep denied it ever happened despite the photo evidence saying, "Conor only fights fighters."
The two appeared to have moved on from the fight fairly quickly as MGK continued to walk the red carpet with his girlfriend Megan Fox, displaying steamy PDA. The singer sported a glittery red suit while the actress opted for a nearly nude see through Mugler dress.
Conor, who wears a pink sports jacket, was later seen kissing his girlfriend, Dee Devlin, inside the awards show.
MGK is scheduled to perform his new single "Papercuts" on the stage tonight, joining another amazing lineup of performers, including Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, and Normani.
RadarOnline.com also reported earlier that Kanye West is expected to be making a surprise appearance on the show tonight to promote his latest album, Donda.
