Lindsay Lohan Set For 'Massive Comeback', Signs On To Star In Netflix Rom-Com After 10-Year Film Break

Lindsay Lohan is gearing up for a massive comeback and has signed onto her first major film role in 10 years.
Variety broke the story; Lindsay is attached to star in a yet-to-be titled romantic comedy for Netflix.
She will be playing a “newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress” who gets amnesia after a skiing accident. Lindsay’s character finds herself in the “care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.” The rest of the cast has yet to be announced.
Sources tell Radar, over the past couple of years, Lindsay has been quietly taking meetings with producers and executives. We’re told she has been showing them she is ready to get back to work.
Insiders reveal the actress also has a ton of ideas for shows she wants to develop and produce. The Netflix deal is only the start for new projects Lindsay has lined up.
Her last major film project was 2013’s The Canyons. The film didn’t do well at the box office, but Lindsay’s performance received rave reviews.

A few years after the film, Lindsay decided it was time to leave Los Angeles after wrapping up legal issues.
She decided to spend some time in London before setting up her home in Dubai.
The actress has kept a low profile for the last couple of years. She starred in her own iconic MTV reality show Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club in 2019. Aside from the show, Lindsay released another dance track Back To Me, and was a judge on Australia’s The Masked Singer.
The multi-talented star also released her own line of jewelry. People close to Lindsay believe she has never been more focused. Sources say the actress has been working hard to bring projects that mean something to her to life. Sources say she is headed for a "massive comeback" in the next year.
Lindsay’s past credit include roles in The Parent Trap and Mean Girls. At the height of her career, the stunner was chased down by paparazzi every time she left the house. She dealt with various legal issues before finding peace in her life.
