Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, is under scrutiny after it was leaked that U.S. taxpayers are footing the bill for a series of luxe upgrades to her ambassadorial residence in Greece, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
Critics are fuming over the eye-watering renovations tied to her high-profile post, where she's spending $58,000 on a basketball court.
Ambassador's Residence Upgrades
Guilfoyle arrived at a glamorous event in Athens, Greece, in November 2025.
Guilfoyle has been living in Jefferson House, the Ambassador's residence in Athens' Kolonaki district, since arriving for her post in November 2025.
The former Fox News host has gone on to become quite the social butterfly, becoming close friends with Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos, who are wealthy shipping heirs and co-owners of the men's professional EuroLeague basketball club Olympiacos.
Guilfoyle is having a half-sized basketball court installed in the residence's yard next to the pool and gardens. She's also requested that a personal photographer be hired at the cost of $29,000, as the ex-journalist both lives and works at Jefferson House. The position would be on an as-needed basis, with the shutterbug working up to 20 hours per month.
Greek Basketball Fan
Guilfoyle took a trip to Washington, D.C. in March where President Trump recognized Greece's independence day.
Guilfoyle, 57, has already shown her love for Greek basketball on her Instagram page.
She was joined by a fellow American, Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Daiyan Henley, Giorgos Angelopoulos, and Greek-American Olympiacos player Tyler Dorsey for an on-court jersey swap on February 9, when the bolts were on an off-season team visit to Athens.
Next to the snapshot of the Ambassador posing for photos and shaking hands, she wrote, "It was amazing being back at the Olympiacos Peace and Friendship stadium to cheer on the athletes competing in last night’s EuroLeague match."
She went on to thank the players "who invited me to preside over a jersey swap," which was "in the spirit of friendship, respect, and U.S.-Greek ties!"
Kimberly Guilfoyle Is Still a Jet Setter
Guilfoyle shared a glam selfie while attending the Vienna State Opera Ball in Austria.
While Guilfoyle has seemed to make the most of being stationed in Greece, she's still keeping up with the lavish, high-flying lifestyle she had when engaged to the president's son.
The former prosecutor hit up Paris Fashion Week in February, attending several shows while wearing a plunging corset top and a feathered miniskirt.
That same month, Guilfoyle got equally glam for the Vienna State Opera Ball.
However, the former legal eagle has been enjoying her time in Greece, having the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of running in the Olympic torch relay beneath the Acropolis ahead of the 2026 Milan/Cortina d'Ampezzo Winter Games.
Guilfoyle has also been hard at work pursuing partnerships in shipping and energy, two of Greece's top industries.

Guilfoyle was first nominated for the post on December 10, 2024, just over a month after her former father-in-law-to-be, Donald Trump, won a second term as president.
The timing coincided with the brunette's split from Don Jr., which was confirmed around the same time as her diplomatic post abroad.
The two began dating in 2018 and became engaged in 2020. However, Don. Jr had been seen having cozy lunches around Palm Beach, Florida, in the fall of 2024 with socialite Bettina Anderson.
The MAGA scion made his romance official with Anderson in January 2025, as she accompanied him to a number of his father's inaugural events. The couple announced their engagement during a party at the White House in December of that year.
