Kelly Clarkson Awarded 2 More Montana Homes In Divorce As She Plans To Kick Ex-Husband Brandon Blackstock Off Her Ranch
Kelly Clarkson was awarded additional real estate as part of her divorce from Brandon Blackstock.
According to court documents obtained by Radar, the judge presiding over the case not only found the former couple's Montana ranch belonged to Kelly but also found she was the sole owner of two other properties.
Brandon, who quit his job as a music manager to become a full-time rancher, had been trying to have their prenuptial agreement thrown out. He believed the homes Kelly bought during their marriage should be considered marital property.
The judge wasn’t convinced with Brandon’s argument and found the prenup was valid. As a result, Kelly won the ranch. However, Kelly was also asking the court to find she was the sole owner of two other properties nearby.
Kelly originally purchased the ranch in 2019. The following year, the talk show host purchased two small properties nearby. The first was a 7-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom 5,352 sq. ft. home in the city of Anaconda.
The second home was a 6-bedroom, 6-bathroom home in Philipsburg, MT. Records show the home was used as a bed and breakfast.
Kelly told the court she bought the homes by herself after Brandon “stopped contributing towards the parties’ ongoing expenses.” One of the homes has already been sold off and the other has a pending sale.

"The Court therefore rejects Respondent's [Brandon's] position that the Montana Ranch and other Montana properties are marital property owned 50/50 by the Parties," the ruling read.
Sources close to Kelly say she is ready to sell off the Montana ranch and wants Brandon off the property immediately.
At the moment, Brandon seems to be in denial about the situation. Paparazzi questioned him about the ruling as he arrived at LAX. He seemed to think the judge had yet to rule on the ranch.
In the recent court order, the judge once again sided with Kelly. The judge said Kelly had all rights to the other rental properties and Brandon had no ownership. As we previously reported, Kelly is currently paying her ex $200,000 a month in child and spousal support.
