The Batman Begins actress was first linked to the 33-year-old restauranteur in September 2020.
Sources told OK! that despite their 8-month relationship, Holmes began to feel like "something didn't seem right" and pulled away from Vitolo.
Interestingly enough, she allegedly didn't end things in person. According to reports, she broke it off over the phone.
"She dumped him," their insider said at the time, adding, "Katie started to wonder if Emilio had ulterior motives for dating her."
Vitolo was Holmes' first boyfriend after ending her long-term relationship with Oscar winner Jamie Foxx.
