Actor Josh Hutcherson was spotted in Mexico looking worse for wear nursing a serious injury.
The 29-year-old Hunger Games star was seen wobbling around on the beach in Mexico while wearing a medical boot on his leg.
Hutcherson was seen using crutches as he tried to make his way across the beach. He was seen hanging out by himself for a bit before he slowly made his way over to a group of friends.
The actor looked a bit unkempt as he rocked a tie-dye shirt with a pair of short black pants.
The exact reason why Hutcherson is in a boot is unclear. The actor doesn't keep social media and is barely seen out and about.
The photos are the first time we've seen Hutcherson in some time. He hasn't had a film project since the 2017 Hulu Show Future Man, which ran on the streaming platform until 2020.
He is set to star in the upcoming film Across The River and Into The Trees with Liev Schreiber and Danny Huston. The movie is an adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's 1950 novel.
Huterson's career has not taken off like many expected following his starring role as Peeta Mellark in the Hunger Games franchise with Jennifer Lawrence. While J. Law's career has skyrocketed with multiple blockbusters and $25 million paychecks, Huterson has struggled to find a huge project despite his fan base.
At the time, he told EW he wanted to avoid big roles after Hunger Games. "Obviously the benefit of having more projects come your way is great. But when I set out to become an actor at 8, being famous and being recognized was not on my radar. I just wanted to make movies."
"That naiveté followed me until slapped me in the face. It's hard for anybody to digest, especially being a kid from Kentucky. It made me realize the kind of actor I wanted to be. The idea of doing big, big projects that make you even more well-known doesn't sound as appetizing. If that opportunity came up again, I would have to think about it more," he explained.
