A glum-looking Jeff Zucker was spotted walking the streets of New York in his first public appearance since being forced to resign from his role in embarrassment.
The snaps were taken on Friday as the 56-year-old divorcee left his apartment for the first time in over a week.
In the photos obtained by Daily Mail, Zucker is seen quickly jumping into his driven SUV waiting outside his Upper East Side pad.
The former media exec was seen in an oversized black jacket and a pair of basic jeans.
Zucker has not said a word since releasing a statement on February 2 announcing resigning from his $6 million-a-year position. "As part of the investigation into Chris Cuomo’s tenure at CNN, I was asked about a consensual relationship with my closest colleague, someone I have worked with for more than 20 years,” he wrote.
“I acknowledged the relationship evolved in recent years. I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn’t. I was wrong,” he said. “As a result, I am resigning today.”
The woman who Zucker carried out an affair for years was CNN's Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for CNN Worldwide, Allison Gollust.
Gollust released her own statement admitting the relationship turned romantic but claimed it started during the pandemic.
“Jeff and I have been close friends and professional partners for over 20 years. Recently, our relationship changed during COVID," she claimed.
Sources tell us the timeline she presented is not true. We're told their alleged affair was the reason for their separate divorces.
A couple of weeks before Gollust finally admitted to the relationship, she scoffed at reporters who asked about Radar's exclusive story about the affair.
In 2019, Zucker filed for divorce from his wife Caryn after 21 years. Gollust had left her marriage about a year prior.
Sources say while Zucker resigned, he wasn't really given an option by the higher-ups. CNN is still fighting off Chris Cuomo who lawyered up after he was let go for his role in his brother Andrew's scandal.
