Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet have announced they are ending their marriage with a joint statement on Instagram.
The Hollywood power couple told fans they were "parting ways in marriage" aka headed for divorce.
"We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring," the couple started the message off.
The two said they weren't sharing "because we think it’s newsworthy" but so as they go about their lives they can do so with "dignity and honesty."
Jason and Lisa said, "the love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become."
They promised that they would continue to focus on their children.
Busted! Did Lisa Bonet Steal Her Husband From His Ex-Fiancée?
42-year-old Jason and 54-year-old Lisa have been married since October 2017 but have been together since 2005. They share children Lola and Nakoa-Wolf.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the couple have not been seen together in quite some time. Lisa skipped out on all of her husband's promotional events for his blockbuster film Dune.
Lisa was photographed with Jason throughout 2020 including attending the Golden Globes and various award shows. She seemed to have stopped as the pandemic raged on. The last red carpet they appear to have walked as a couple was the Tom Ford AW20 Show in February 2020.
Last year, Jason was out in Hawaii shooting the sequel to Aquaman but Lisa was nowhere in sight. The actor even spent extra time after the film wrapped hanging out with his friends and having boat trips.
Back in November, Jason was videotaped stumbling out of the afterparty for House of Gucci. The actor was seen barely able to walk without a male friend holding him up. His shoes were seen falling off and he could barely keep his pants on.
